Today at 15.00 in the Court of Appeal in Gda\u0144sk a judgment was announced in the appeal hearing against the judgment in civil proceedings against Hans G.,for violating the personal rights of his employees, including Natalia Nitek-P\u0142a\u017cy\u0144ska, through words that can be considered as hate speech against Poles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the verdict, Natalia Nitek-P\u0142a\u017cy\u0144ska is to apologize to the German Hans G. for recording his statements. The apology is to be made public on two social media accounts throughout the whole month, in addition, Natalia Nitek-P\u0142a\u017cy\u0144ska is to pay the PLN 10,000 into the account of the \u201cWielka Orkiestra \u015awi\u0105tecznej Pomocy\u201d charity and cover court costs. The German who insulted Natalia Nitek-P\u0142a\u017cy\u0144ska by saying that he was a Nazi and could shoot all Poles, is to send a letter of apology to Natalia Nitek-P\u0142a\u017cy\u0144ska, but he does not have to apologize in public. The court said that recording the German, when he was insulting Poles was unworthy behavior and that is why Natalia Nitek-P\u0142a\u017cy\u0144ska is to apologize to him.<\/p>\n

Hans G. is a German, an employer at POS System in Pomerania, who, while conducting business in Poland, used words against Polish employees that threaten their personal and national rights. As established by the courts ( both civil and criminal), the German businessman insulted Natalia Nitek-P\u0142a\u017cy\u0144ska because of her nationality. He called himself a Nazi, he verbally declared that he could kill all Poles and used hate speech used by the Nazis during the occupation. He also threatened his employee with death, citing the superiority of German’s over Poles.<\/p>\n

After a trial lasting several years trial, in February 2019 the Gda\u0144sk Regional Court obliged Hans G. to apologize to Natalia Nitek-P\u0142a\u017cy\u0144ska in the nationwide media and to pay PLN 50,000. as compensation for the Pia\u015bnica Museum in Wejherowo. In the forests near Pia\u015bnica, at the beginning of World War II, the Germans shot more than 12,000 representatives of the intelligentsia from Pomerania, as well as people of Polish, Czech and German nationality who were brought there from the German Third Reich. Hans G\u2019s business headquarters is located several kilometers from the Pia\u015bnickie Forest.<\/p>\n

Criminal proceedings were also pending against Hans G. In December 2019, Hans G. was found guilty of insulting and making death threats to Natalia Nitek-P\u0142a\u017cy\u0144ska. The accused was sentenced to 8 months imprisonment, suspended for 2 years, the court also imposed a fine of PLN 20,000 and PLN 10,000 for the victims of his insults. In addition, Hans G. was to reimburse the costs of the court proceedings in an approximate amount of PLN 50,000.<\/p>\n

Both trials, both the civil and criminal, were legally and financially supported by \u201cReduta Dobrego Imienia\u201d. In the civil case, \u201cReduta Dobrego Imienia\u201d had the status of a participant in the trial.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
