Today we would like to share with you another success and at the same time thank you for your support, as without you our victories would not be possible.
As we recently reported, the analysis department of the Polish League Against Defamation undertakes numerous activities every day, leading to the detection of content containing historical misrepresentations. Through a thorough case analysis of each submission, we qualify the texts that require intervention.
We focus on activities that enable the elimination of false information, used in a manner inconsistent with historical truth, and effectively counteract disinformation, in order to maintain the accuracy of the portrayal of our World War II history.
The actions we have taken lead to a number of successes, as a result of which inaccurate wording is corrected, straightened, clarified or removed so that the false message is not perpetuated. This was also the case in the following instance, when we made several attempts to change an article, published on https://www.atlantajewishtimes.com, whose title already misled the reader „Student Visit Polish Death Camps.”
Our counteraction to the falsification of history, by calling for the modification of incorrect wording, actually leads to a quick correction of the content, and as now in place of „.Polish Death Camps” appeared the true wording „… German Extermination Camps in Poland”.
Each such success leads to a reduction in the number of incorrect formulations that could function in the public space and mislead, while at the same time distorting Polish history and blaming the Polish Nation for the Holocaust.
By the same token, we thank you once again for supporting us in these activities, because thanks to your help we can act effectively, quickly and achieve further successes in the field of fighting historical disinformation, emphasizing the memory of the events that took place.
